Just got back from Germany, into Heathrow coming down the M4, dirty great lump of something comes off this lorries wheel (sans mudflaps) flies toward the car.

Get back home, hole in front grille big enough to put fist through :Cry1:

Looks like the radiator is OK though.

So, a quick MAX power inspired repair (quick trip to H$%fords in the morning for some mesh) and off to Germany in the car.

Hopefully can get a new grille while I'm out there.

Good luck with the repair. DIY shops also sell assorted mesh.

Yeah, could have been worse.

Could've got a headlamp, or worse yet punched through the radiator.

I might even stick with the metal grille, if I can make it look suitably original.

So, my baby is patched up with chicken wire for the trip to Deutschland and the local mitsy dealer in Hameln will have a new grille for me on Tuesday.

All in for 120 yoyo's (about 80 quid)

So, everything is right in the world again.
