I found this guy on e-bay selling gas cut flanges to order for 1.50 a piece,
ideal for making cat replacements. Of cource you have to be able to weld them to either side of a piece of scrap exhaust pipe.
here is his e-mail adress.

Or you could speak very nicely to Mr BDA (bigdaveakers) who was able to supply some ready made ones for £40 + postage :-D

How much difference does the CAT replacement make? Is it noticeable?

Difficult to say with induction, super drager etc already fitted - best guess is an extra 10bhp - mind you how else could you gain 10bhp for £40, permanantly?
And it does make a difference to the exhaust note - sounds even better now :-D

Pete ? have you found it noisier inside the cabin now ?? not just the exhaust note from the outside ?? mine tends to 'drone' a lot more at around 2000 rpm. I know I've got a loud exhaust, but I think the de-cat is intrusive into the car ??

Not really noticed any different in the cabin - I love dropping the passenger window when there are some buildings that side (get the sound reflected back) and flooring it - lovely sound :D
