Posted for anybody who might like to sign this ME petition. As some of u know this is what I suffer from and I can deffo say its not in my head. The only good thing about ME is I know who my mates are now and I prob wouldn't have a Leggie if I wasn't ill. The deadline for signatures is 22/1/08.

thanks for posting about it

I lost (only) 6 months to ME in my 20s; relearning how to live & work was the only way back from spending most days indoors.

Hope you'r erecovering ok

Have signed but from experience the petitions bit is just PR for the PM. They never take action and always give you some excuse.

We haven't lived in a democracy for many years!

Thanks everyone.

Will I'm doing better than I was a month or so ago. I was housebound and it was awful. At least I can go out now.

You poor poor thing.
Don't let it beat you: I know it can take years to build yourself up to going out again, and working, and even then you have to budget yourself in terms of energy.

How anyone can think it's psychological is beyond me: you can SEE how tired an ME sufferer gets, even when they are trying to hide it!

Damn I didn't realise people knew I was hiding it lol. Yeah my mates know now if I say I'm fine when I'm not and they take me home lol.
