Mine's just sitting finger tight in the car at the moment, if you want me to take it out and measure? Id need to know the specific places you want me to measure it though.

All good, hopefully this does the trick.

Width: 740mm

Height of Core: 375mm
Height total (minus mounting pins, to the top of Rad. cap) 480mm

Core thickness: approx 26/27mm
Tank Thicknesses: approx 60mm
Front to back of larger fan: 120mm
Max depth front to back of fan controller: 210mm
Hoses: 35mm ID

Okay, just got a reply back for a radiator.

This is brand new out of the box.

$289.99
$326.24 incl. freight to wellington.

what do you reckon?

a wreckers will be a lot cheaper. Kempys told me somewhere around the $80-120 mark, I can't really remember the price now.

Do you get a warranty with the new rad?

yup thats about right for a new rad. you could go to a wrecker but yeah, its second hand!

i got a quote for a mazda bounty after market rad today and it was $365 trade!

im guessing so. but yeah, ill probably go with a cheaper/second hand.

when you look for the second hand rad make sure there are no white ish stress marks or white crazing marks round the radiator cap and rear by on the top of the rad. as this is a known problem area.
mine and a few others have cracked along this point.

would a viento legnum radiator fit or be suitable for our VR4s?

I beleive they are all the same, possible worth checking with someone that has working copy of caps though.

yup. something bout the hoses dont line up.
the car im lookin at has a tiptronic box. so its a win win situation so far.
