New wheels for my new car....when I get it!

Thinking of either of these for the Leggy when I get it.

May have issues with the Rota wheels with clearance though.....

Taking the advice on here the tyres would be 225/40's

I ain't an expert but most on here says 17s are the way to go - 18s just too brutal. However, because of circumstance, I will be giving one of mine I go on 18s soon enough...!

From an aesthetic point of view, I don't think you can go wrong with 5/6 spokes. One set of mine are 10 spokes and they don't look as good.

I like 5 spokes as well, I've got a set of RX8 wheels spare at home... with 225/45 x18's on them......:d but I'm with you on the 17's.

I don't want to upset the handling/balance/ride of the car, I've got an MX5 that rattles my fillings out :laugh: When I get the car, I need to list what I'm going to do 1st to enhance looks/ride/stopping.

Wheels will be the 1st to do........ need to keep looking to find the right offset/size... to many to choose from:evilgrin: :happy:

I saw those black with red rim Rota wheels last weekend at Autosport, they do look nice, I was very tempted, and I've not long changed mine, (I don't find 18"'s too much, bit more tramlining, but not much difference in ride).

They had them in EVO fitment which will be fine.

It's the offset with the Rota's that may cause the problem I think.

45 mm offset is a bit much, but with a 7.5" wide rim you might just do it.

Just pick up one of the Legnums on this site and see where you go from there. Improve looks? You don't need to! All folk see is the back of mine anyway (which can only be good as the front bumper's hanging off and the wing's taken a kicking).
