It's as quick as it ugly I believe Pete. It's basically an R33 GTS-T with an ugly estate body slapped onto it AFAIK. Quick car with alot of tuning potential.

Good tuning potential its got thr RB25det in it but my god they are ugly , i dont even think 15 pints and beer googles could help that munter

Getting wed this year and saving up for monster honeymoon, and new fluids for the VR4s so there's no way. It would just be funny destroying everything on the road with THE ugliest, biggest motor.

Apparently 245bhp as standard, easily tunable towards 400bhp.

I agree with the hilarity factor as suggested by Pete - despatching everything with a hearse would be v funny!

The Newera one looked quite nice, but still pig-ugly! The one you've found looks like the upholstery is from a bus (rather apt really...)!

As stock they are slower than a VR-4 by quite a bit, they are abotu 200kg heavier and down a bit on power.

There is a 260RS version with an RB26DETT in it, which is probably about the same speed as a VR-4. There are quite a few of those in NZ

Doesn't look much different to the VR4 - I mean the basic shape - that Nissan is fugly, but the VR4 looks good...

PowerFC, exhaust, inlet = fast.
Bigger turbos + injectors = silly fast.

All bits available for skyline at much less than VR-4 tuning money (at least in the UK). I was sooo tempted.

What actually swung it in the end was 3 things: VR-4 looks better, VR-4 had leather, VR-4 had a much better owners club! :D :D

The later models are far better looking. Well from the front at least. Back looks a little Volvo-ish.

Later models dropped the RB inline 6 engines for the VQ V6s, so probably a little harder to tune.

my christ they are ugly cars. yes they are alot easier to tune then a vr4 but id rather drive a slow vr4 then a fast shoebox on wheels....bloody datsuns
