auto trans flushing product, this is for Don!

Hi All

does anyone know if you can get a flushing product for the auto gear box. like the flushing oils you can get for you engine. i have not seen any advertised, i was worndering if Don could shed some light on the subject.

If i remember correctly Don is against all flush's for the trans.

I did use one on my Legnum when I first got it - Mainly because the ATF in the gearbox looked more like coffee than ATF!!:speechles

There's a few suppliers in the UK.

Note that Lubeguard also do an additive that 'converts' Dexron III to the Mitsubishi SP-II/III fluid. I would not recommend this additive. Bern and I have tried it and it didn't work well for either of us. I would consider using the transmission flush again though.
