As sad as this sounds, I dropped the little securing nut for one of the windscreen washers into the bonnet while I was trying to put the squirty thing back on, I can hear it rattling around but bugger me if I can get it out of there!

Does anyone have one lying around? Or know of something I can use as a substitute? It looks rank as sticking up out of the bonnet with only the hose to hold it down ha ha.

Nah, the squirties, they push thru the bonnet, and have plastic nuts that hold them on. They are a complete pig to get on and off, which could explain how I dropped it ha ha.

You mean the bits that sit on the outside of the bonnet with the rubber hoses from the screenwash tank underneath the bonnet?

If so the mitsu ones just clip on, theres no nut to hold them. Sounds like you have had yours replaced at some point.

Was there anything special about the nut, i would imagine you could just go buy another nut and you'll be all good

Actually just found the old aftermarket ones that came with my car, they use nuts to hold themselves in place, feel free to pop round and pick them up

That would be awesome! Do you wanna PM me your details?

On a side note, not so worried about the squirties since I scraped my car along another one the other day... no damage to the other car, but my paint just flaked off... Luckly its the front bumper which needed to come off (again) and get a bit of a recon (read: bit more fibreglass, new paint).
