So, talking to the receptionist today and she said that her flat mates were being mean to her baby rats, so she took the rats off them and in order to stop them from grabbing the rats she put them down her top and ran away.

I said that I'd like to see that someday, and she said what, the rats? I said no, you putting them down your top. She said (completely calmly) but I don't have the rats here.

So I said (smoothly) well you could substitute my hand in there instead, I won't mind


The boss was listening and thought it funny too, and she was cool with it, but unfortunately my hand didn't get sustituted :(
