music organiser

Does anyone know of a good music organising application for windows? My music has been sorted into separate folders according to artist but my fiancee's music is just sitting in a folder labelled "Elaine".

I would like to avoid manually creating folders and sifting through each track and copying it into the corresponding folder - was wondering if there might be an app out there that would do this for me?

MediaMonkey is the absolute mutts nuts. It's fast, stable, playback is via built in WinAmp, you can download it and use it for free, but if you pay a small fee you can upgrade it to Gold status, which allows it to do all sorts of extra nifty stuff.

It will talk to most MP3 players (ipod included) and just generally rocks.

Yes, I have the Gold version which works very well - haven't tried connecting iPod yet though.. :)
