I'll come. I have some recaro seats that need fitting. Also might possibly be due for an oil change by then.

Also maybe I can bring a soldering iron and fix any console clocks people have that have dry solder joints and are losing time.

I could do 4th / 5th. I want to fit two Recaro passenger and driver front seats. These ones ought to simply bolt in. I have the rails needed for proper Legnum fitament.

Are you guys planning to get together this weekend?

I have a few things I'd like to have help on.

1. Fit Recaro front seats
2. ATF fluid and filter change
3. Oil and filter change

Not too fussed on 2 actually, I know the ATF filter is difficult to get to , so it may be best to have it done at the dealer's. Also does anyone want their console clocks fixed? I can bring a soldering iron and do that - v easy job.

Yeah it might be an idea to vote on a day. I would prefer Sunday 6th so I can get drunk Friday night and sleep in Sat morning. But no biggie if people want Sat 5th.

Repco had 20% off oil over the weekend. I am disappointed as the only 10W-30 or 5W-30 full synthetic (they did have minerals and semi-synths in that weight though) they had in stock was Catrol Edge Sport 5W-30. I went with that, but apparently that is pooh; according to posts from Gly anyway. The other synths were 5W-40 which is too heavy... Supercheap was the same.

Am just wondering how big a deal it would be to change my ATF fluid and filter at the workshop day, ala something like Kieran's instructions here:

I have all the stuff he describes except for a 24mm socket. What do you guys think? I will be eternally in your debt if you help, haha! Seriously, I can fix your console clocks if you have problems with them. Unfortunately I probably can't do the ATF change by myself, as I am not that mechanically minded. Was struggling to change the oil and filter today - blasted sump plug would not come off, but anywho I will get it done at the dealer's if it is too hard a job for us.

I would use a minimum of 2AWG(35mm squared) though I would use 0AWG(55sqmm)..

I have two axle stands, so if people want to use regular scissor jacks to raise the cars and put them on the stands that ought to work, it will just take slightly longer. Failing that I may be able to borrow a hydraulic floor jack, but will have to see. Does anyone else have access to one of those?
