WTB: centre console facia, fake wood, whatever

I need the centre console (fake wood bit), that goes around the stereo and fag lighter etc, also the centre air vents, and around gear stick, auto, doesn't matter what colour, cheers Louis

Though by the looks of things it is missing the air vent surrounds - but I'm guessing you can pick that centre vents part at a breakers for a few quid, cheaper though than buying the whole thing new or at a breakers complete.

I would like black or silver ones ... seem to be hard to come by if you've got the climate control panel as they are different to the standard galants.

My legnum came with a proper silver one but I really like it and so it isn't for sale! I saw a legnum for sale in the UK and it had a silver centre section as well as silver air vents next to the doors and looked very smart. I presume that those were sprayed that colour as that is the only car I have seen like that?

yeah it'd be resprayed. I'm thinking of getting the carbon dash panel and the plastic around the side vents painted black, I like the interiors of cars to have as much black in them as possible.

Re-spraying is an option. I'll post up some photos of mine later so you get the idea of what can be achieved. The best advice is to clear laquer coat the items, it ives a nice smooth finish and protection. Next best advice is to take plenty of time to do the job. Rushing gives you runs or fingerprints in the finish!

I'll be giving painting those items a go fairly shortly. Since I have the gear to do it and some decent paint it should turn out OK.

If you are keen brad, see how mine turns out and I may be up for a exchange based sale :)

Basically I only want to cover the paint costs. I got the best stuff, so it isn't cheap unfortunately... It should give a decent result though.

Yeah, (HMG1K, posted it earlier) exactly what I was after, put a bid in, but was out and about when the auction was ending so I missed it!, (feck!)

Cheers mate. I used Miliput Epoxy Putty standard yellow-grey one, theres a thread some where with some details on how I done it. If not let me know and il finally add a write up on the articles section.
