OE Discs question

Ok, I've been thrawling though the forum looking for brake setup advice and have come to a :speechles .
I've the 1997 vr4 leggy and am experiencing awful brake fade. Now I've got the standard set-up and badly need to be able to stop hard, coz other drivers' idiocy make me a bad driver.

I've pretty much decided on getting the carbotech XP8's which I presume just fit straight on... ???

Would this do me, or is there some reason why I should upgrade discs/calipers/hoses?

Discs possibly. I'm not sure if carbotech recommend grooved/drilled etc... I personally wouldn't, with a possible exception of well priced grooved discs. Hoses will improve the pedal feel, but shouldn't actually make any difference to your stopping power. Calipers if you are going to track the car, otherwise, from what I've heard, the Carbotechs should be plenty!
