If you're after a VR4 / Legnum lower suspension strut brace - brand new... there's one up on eBay at the moment...

Not mine - one I spotted!

Shame these things tend not to fit with the stainless downpipes.

ive seen that, exaclty what benefit would a stock ie mine gain from this?
Is it a direct bolt on or any modifying work needed?

i believe it makes the car quite low when fitted (hangs down a bit) there were some posts on here about catching them on speed bumps, particularly if you are lowerd already.
just something to think about.

I believe EVO ones look a bit more sturdy as they are fitted to all 4 lower arm mounting points and cross braced as well.

Car isnt lowered but i will bear this in mind, quite a few speed humps near me too!

Is fitting a diy job or is it a garage up on a lift job?

Cheers

Mike,

You'll have to let us know how you get on. I don't think the chassis needs tightening up any more on a standard car as they handle so well any way. I'd be interested to hear of any improvements you observe.

I am playing on roundabouts now in stock form to get a current feeling of what its like as stock, fresh in the mind/butt dyno and all that. Will be interesting to see if it has any effect at all? If not off it comes and back on eeeb

Rightio, results. The cars seems to be a bit tighter from the front, to me there seems to be a bit more road feel. Car doesnt seem to be affected by front roll as much for example when diving into a roundabout. It may result in more of an oversteer effect but im still trying to make up my mind on this one!

I think it may create more wind noise at speed but am still debating that one at moment.

anyways..pics installed below, It doesnt seem to hang too low to catch.
