:inquisiti Quick question, what is the change interval for the AYC actuation fluid, the fluid with its resovoir in the boot. This is the stuff which via the hydraulic motor, proportioning valve and directional control valve, actually actuates the clutch in the AYC diff. Am I right in thinking that this never needs changing? The fluid in my car looks crystal clear and I think it was changed about 20,000kms ago, but perhaps this was unnecessary??

Oops wrong forum, sorry. I guess this should be in General VR-4...

This forum is good, as far as I'm concerned!

It doesn't need changing as often as the rest, but it wouldn't hurt to do it occaisonally. I have just changed mine, knowing it has been at least 30,000 miles since it was last done. To be honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been!
