i need to find the ecu on my 2.5 v6 galant r reg. it is to reset the srs light. can anyone help.? thank you:

As far as I know it's behind the centre console under the dashboard (clock area)?

it's directly in front of the ash tray under the centre console. Look on the passengers side for a plastic panel and remove it.

Thats what i was thinking? I got the impression that taking the battery off etc doesnt help, and that you needed to take it to mitsi to get them to remove the fault with the MUTII? Might pay to do a search on airbags first...

But yes you get to the ecu via the passengers side plastic panel to the centre consol.

srs codes usually aint stored. so if the fault if fixed you shouldnt have to clear it - it will clear itself.

mike is right, you will have to take it to mitsi or flash the code out to find out what the fault is
