Changed the front and rear engine roll stopper on the weekend.

Heres a picture of the wear on the rear one. Front one was similarly off centre.

wear symptoms:
-wobble through steering/body during mild accerelation.
-excessive engine 'slop' when lifting off the throttle.
-engine vibration transmitted through body / steeringwheel during free revving in nuetral.

engine seems to move more now when revving with bonnet open.

most symptoms have been rectified apart from i still have a muched reduced wobble when accelerating.

note: the new unit is different design. dont know why.

That's not too bad ... my rear one was a lot worse before we replaced it last year. How many miles old is that?

Yes, it did make a big difference on mine in terms of reduced vibration through the car.

Ouch!

That's about £70 for the rear one and £50 for the front one IIRC.
