A tutorial by Kieran on changing the ATF fluid (which is in the member's section) describes a two person process of running the engine and using a hose to drain the additional ATF fluid - the stuff which does not come out when you open the sump drain plug.
I wonder though, if you could put an oil pump (see link for an example) down the ATF dipstick hole and suck out all the ATF fluid out with that?
