Hi all,

I driving /rally around in my Galant 2.5i V6 and really want to fit a induction kit, so I can get that induction roaaaaaar !!!!

Been reading up on it and don't like the idea of the filter sucking up alot of the hot air from the engine! so I came across this........... "BMC Filters, CDA Induction Kit CDA85-150"

It's an enclosed induction kit, so only cool air from the outside will be sucked it.....anyone on here got one, if so, any good, does it make a nice induction roar, and has it improved the engine ???

Any other kits you lot think will be good for the V6......please let me know

Cheers

Wan

As you're in it for the noise, I'd suggest you opt for a "pod" filter in a carbon fibre box / tube that is rigidly mounted to the airfilter. Ensure the ducting to the front of the car is as straight as possible and the largest bore possible. The area behind the foglights seems to be a high pressure area at speed, so venting to somewhere there should be beneficial, but beware of going too low: you can end up hoovering up puddles and destroying your engine.
