View Full Version : clock & denso u-groove spark plugs

my clock comes on when i start the car, but goes off after about 1 min. anyone know whats wrong. is it ok to use Denso's U-Groove spark plug on my car. cheers.

The clock on these are a pain in the ass. All you have to do is take it out and re-solder the joints.

As for the plug's I don't know.

thanks m8, i will try that, i must say this forum is very helpful and the guys here are just the same, thanks to one and all for the help so far, as i get to learn the car better maybe i will be able to help someone also.

No probs, do a search on spark plugs there is masses of info on them. Nick Manns last thread was a good 1 and the plugs he went for are good ones.

If you have Denso suppliers out there then the part number for the platinum plugs for our VR4's (8 Generation) are Denso PK20PR-P8.

NGK do an equivalent and you can also get Iridium plugs but they are more expensive. The platinum ones will easily last 40,000 miles.

if you you are going for more power go 1 colder which are PK22PR-P8.
