:2thumbsup Hi, I'm in North Yorkshire, and I have a 1996 VR-4. I've had it just over a year and I really need to get to grips with some things, such as the cambelt, which I haven't replaced yet. I ran Lancia Integrales for the last ten years but decided I needed something bigger, more modern and more reliable. I also wanted a performance car that, like the Lancia, was something a bit "different" . The Legnum has met all these requirements. In my view the VR-4 also matches the Integrale's classic understated but muscular styling.
And finally, the Lancias don't have a thriving internet resource like Club VR-4:2thumbsup

replacing the cambelt is a fairly big operation, count on quite a few hundred pounds for the parts and about 8 hours for the labour. At least once you've done it, you won't have to worry about it again for about 50000 miles.

Hello and welcome! I hope you enjoy your time with the car and club. One way of enjoying your car even more is to get to a few events and get drunk with us all! Or just as much fun, get it on track with us all!

And don't forget the water pump at the same time to save you yet another 8 hours should that go!

Welcome along too !

Thanks for the welcome! I will be joining as a paid-up member soon. The events invite sounds good too! The cambelt job sounds a bit daunting, I'm still not sure whether to have a go myself, or find a professional to do it. I guess it's not much of a job compared to Kochajj's work though.
