they dont work, that tugger quentin wilson did a thing on fuel economy a week or so ago, and it was sort of ruled out that they work, because the woman testing them changed her driving style.
my theory on the matter, is, if they work then everyone would be running them :)

I bought one of these from Ideal World a few years back - not this particular one, but using magnet 'technology' in the same way this one on eBay describes - and used it on my 6th gen Galant...

It work for me - in terms of better fuel economy - but that lasted for a year or so and then the reverse happened, increased fuel useage, back to how it was.

If you were to buy one of these, I'd buy it from a firm - like this one http://www.ecomagnets.com/motoflow.htm for example - where you have a comeback than a potential scammer on eBay...

If these products do work, then it is down to the strength of the magnet - the magnet is the important part of this.

By the way, I haven't bothered getting one for my new car.

did you change your style of driving though. it could of been a subconcious thing.

Your better of just whacking a decent fuel cleaner in a full tank of fuel..
And using an Intake cleaner as well..

No... same driving style and journey /distances covered...

It certainly worked for me - for a time...

They've been proven to work under specific circumstances. They've also been proven to block the fuel line with a magnetised lump of metal sludge that would have gone through the engine no problems.

No snake oil per-se, but I'm not convinced the benefits are worth the expense / hassle of cleaning out your fuel line every 6-12 months.
