I've got a '98 2.0 gls to sell. Its done 114K miles, and I'm wondering if I'd get a lot more if break it and sold the parts. What do you guys think?

Cheers,
scc

tough call , not sure how much the GLS would make by breaking

Manual or Auto?

How much do you THINK it's worth?

it's a manual. Probably worth 500-700 pounds?

Cheers,
scc.

Hmmm - Well, say £250-300 for the engine, maybe £200 for the gearbox....

Headlamps and doors sell - Bumpers too if they're in good nick....

Mmmm.... With a GLS I'd say you could make that - but do you have the time and the space to do it?... Tough call.

As you know I've been looking for a 6G Galant and they still fetch between £150-£500ish depending on their condition, so you could find that a £700 8G GLS could be just the ticket for a bargain hunter....

There's a 97 estate in Wakefield for £795. I guess they aren't worth much now.....

If it had been an estate I *might* have been interested.

Break it /yes

If i can make £600 breaking a 1995 clapped out old Peugeot 106 diseasel.. Then i'm sure you can get 1k+ for th GLS..
And if you can get the remains of the body to a scrappy.. You should get a minimum of £80 for that as well..
