Hi All
Bought it 2 weeks ago. Evo V1, 1999, fresh import. Thought it looked a bit plain so had it dressed up.

Subtle! :P

Seriously, it looks like a very nice example. I prefer the plain one myself (that's what makes everyone different!), but the decal work looks excellent. I like it.

Any more pics for drooling purposes?

Ian, your such a tart. But it does look very nice. Did it come with any go faster bits from Japland?

Not allowed to wash it for a few days so will post some more pics when it's clean.
New lights and de-cat pipe to fit this week. Dump valve and turbo timer in the next couple of weeks.
It's pretty quick but am going to put it on a rolling road to see exactly what it does.
As for the number on the door, I chose 6 because it's an Evo V1. Bigsed, is there some significance to the number 6 ?
Yes there will be Club VR4 stickers on it as soon as I renew my membership and Andy sends me some. Especially as you have been gracious enough to let me on the stand.
Thanks for all your comments. Spirit and Wildcards.......pot and kettle come to mind !!! /notworthy

I think the law states that you mustn't have numbers displayed on your vehicle when used on the road.

There is something in the law about not displaying numbers, but a single diagonal line of tape through it is considered sufficient for "not displaying".
I'd carry some black electrical tape in case you get stopped.

And that's "Proper" stickerage, that is. Very impressive....I would love to sticker mine up, but it's going to be sitting in the station car park all day....might be a little too ostentatious.

I wondered what you were running around in at the moment  Saw you post about going on RR as your times were not what you expected from the Pod ?
Was thinking ?? Sure he didn't buy his Super back

On reflection

my launches were absolute crap and the 30-35 mphheadwinds didn't help

Didn't help my tent much either...

... but I bet if the wind had got under it properly, the tent would have had a decent ET (into the other field, that is!)...

Just seen this thread...

Nutty car :afro:

Did you get all those extra goodies installed?

Any rolling road figures yet?

I will look out for you on the 4 lane superhighway part of the A1M !
