Front mount intercooler

Hey guys, new here. I've got a front bodykit but when they put it on, they took out the front impact bar as the kit wouldn't fit with it. If i was to put a front mount, do i need that impact bar?

car comes with a front mount as standard,

no you dont need it,

legally it has to be there (safety reasons)

It's your arse on the line both in the way of cops or accidents. If I was in an accident where someone go seriusly hurt because of a lack of impact bar, I'd feel justifiable to go head hunting.
