Guy,

Congratulation! That's such a nice engine. If my speculation is correct (without seeing your engine picture), I think the engine model is 6A12T which is 2000cc, V6, Twin turbo. If it is an automatic gear, the lowest HP is about 220 (with a black tab turbo) and a bit more for manual gear. The newer blue tab turbo would increase HP to 240-250. The upgraded turbo is doable though you may have to consider the gear capacity, especially an automatic one.

I just drop 6A12T automatic black tab turbo in my car......generate impressive power and acceleration. My Greddy speed count said 6 seconds (and something unknown) from 0-100 km/h. So if you got one with manual gear box, enjoy yourself a ride.........though don't try to race with 6A13 Turbo - that's a big brother!
The below link does not specify 6A12T but should have the same fundamental as 6A12 e.g. cylinder.....else.

Very good information on Japanese cars.
http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/

I owned 2of those 7G VR4's, 1 manual (240hp/228lb.ft) & 1 automatic (215hp/228lb.ft). They use different turbos', if I remember correctly TD025L & TD025M. With very good tuning my manual 7G VR4 did 13.8 @98mph in the 1/4 mile in 35*C heat into the prevailing wind. The automatic with basic tuning did 15.3 @ 89mph in the 1/4mile, same basic weather conditions. Great car ! Lots of potential if you upgrade the turbos'.

Thanks so much for all the help. On upgrading the turbos, what do you think about the t3t4 hybrid turbos? Will I need to upgrade any of the internals?

I don't know much about the T3/T4 turbo's, but I would say that the stock turbo's are good for a steady 16 -18 psi and quite good performance. I damaged two pistons (detonation) boosting over 20psi (probably hitting 24psi) in 5th gear racing an Evo IV and beating it. So, I think the stock internals can take some pressure, just avoid detonation at all costs !
