I have no love for Labour, but I must admit I do feel somewhat sorry for Mr. Brown. Scare Blair timed his exit (and his disappearance from of the public eye) to perfection.

Funny thing with Brown is he badly wanted that polished diamond Blair had for all those years - and when he was handed the box and opened it, Brown saw a 'how to make a diamond' kit !
HA !

labour lost 95% of the vale of glamorgan today, they have only held onto cardiff, which seems to be going the way of the lib dems. but the vale o glamorgan is now all for the tories

so that means that ****** fvcktard piece of **** ken livingston is out doesn't it?
good riddence, that guy was a complete arse
Trying not to get too complacent - after all, everyone said Labour would be out after the petrol crisis and they weren't. It's long time in politics till the next election.
But in the meantime, every Labour member replaced is a bonus.

We desperately need a change of government - I don;t think any party is any better than the other - bunch of bloody corrupt self-serving bastards - but too many re-elections seem to make the buggers think they can do what they want /Grrr

how can anyone vote for a man who has hair like that?/Devil5
my only experience of boris is an episode of top gear and he seemed very keen on all the environmental nonsense. that does concern me (although it doesnt directly affect me) somewhat. is he going to go one step further than ken? pedestrian zones? more restricted roads? im not sure he will be any better from a road users perspective. we will find out sooner or later!
