For those interested, RPW has completed the fitment and testing of the Haltech Interceptor Units onto the Galant VR4 series including Legnums.

The unit has a lot of features, including

Fuel Adjustment +/- 20%
Ignition Adjustment +/- 20 Degrees
Inbuilt electronic boost control (Of factory units) in both traditional duty cycle or in advanced closed loop boost control (Used in conjunction with a road speed input)
Road Speed De-limiter
Duel Mapping option with complete separate tunes

Depending upon how you set it up, if you don't use the Haltech inbuilt boost control, you can then use the outputs for extras like shift lights etc.

These are very easy to fit up and are great for standard vehicles wanting to go that little bit better. Is not compatible with the use of larger injectors that are more than 15% larger than factory.

I am sure there are Haltech dealers in the UK and other area's. This is a very simple unit to fit up, in its most basic set-up there's only around 10 wires to hook up if you just do fuel and ignition control.

If anyone wants any more information on this just ask away. The software is freely available off the internet from the Haltech website and the units can be quite cheap.

The Haltech Miniceptor (A non waterproof version of the Interceptor) is only valued at $665.00 AUD$ plus freight. The kit comes with ECU, Software and wiring harness.
