I have asked around on a few japanese sites for upgraded radiators. I was quoted 88k Yen for a copper one and 203k Yen for an aluminium one. That is NZ$2500!

Damn, could almost buy a Legnum for that much!

Whenz - new ones are available for about $350 on trademe, significantly cheaper!

Paul - it isn't ill in the slightest, it is super fast and runs just fine :) I doubt it is anything to do with the ecu. It is just when driving on the track that it overheats, and while that will most likely be due to all of it's extra power over stock, you can't really blame that on the ecu.

Anthony - I don't know whether another stock rad will fix the problem though.

Yeah im getting one this week from silverside radiators?. (the one on trademe)
I really need my car on the road. i havent used it in like 2-3 weeks. since it cracked. been driving mum and dads holden. grrr.... i took it for a little blast around the block..man i miss it.

I could drive it, but it just adds to the pain of the car. So ill put it out of its missery and get her a new radiator.

make sure a evo radiator can solve your overheating issue,
not worth to spend money on something not sure

my plan is to get one for free to borrow for a weekend
