Just noticed RHD are selling the rear wheel bearing complete as well .It's in the Evo section for £97.38 to £115.59 delivered depending on surface or air mail. Still more expensive than the ones Nick found in the states though

Hey Peter or anyone else, can you confirm that the same rear wheel bearing for the Evo 7 - 9 are the same one for the EC5A VR4 ?
Found the following for the USDM 2003 Evo & need to know if it will work for me...quite inexpensive. (US$86.72)

Going by the cross reference guide it won't fit I'm afraid but it is the same as the eclipse AWD which does have some related parts but I don't know if they will fit

Thanks for your input, but I am still confused.
Just checking the website for Eclipse AWD, there seems to be two different Timken rear wheel bearings that supposedly work.
TM512181 that is also listed for the Evo & TM512136, listed for GSX AWD & other FWD Eclipses'.

Can anyone with CAPS check the Mitsu part # & see if it is the same as the 95-99 AWD Eclipse ?
Thanks.

Thanks Peter, according to DSMtalk.com, MR403968 is for a 95 Eclipse GSX AWD & that is the same part # as the VR4. Good news.

Just to add extra confirmation, CAPS shows my VR4 as part number MR403968 too.

www.camskill.co.uk show the Evo 7,8,9 and the VR4 EC5W/EC5A as "USE MR403968 ALSO MB892400"

So the Evo and VR4 appear to be compatable. I guess you had already got there, but hopefully this is extra confirmation.

/edit - googling MB892400 gives results for the AWD Eclipse, 1995-1999. Bonus!
