saw a piece on motorway patrol. Cop goes to pull over a white legnum in welly and /rally it just blasted off. The cops rounds the next corner and there's no sign of said car :D Later caught due to pulling into a random person drive too fast and hitting corner of the house.

Had to ask if was anyone on here (tsk tsk if it is), but I was impressed with how fast that car left the cop behind. Maybe you Wellington guys might of recognised the car.

A turbo galant coupe got rolled as well for no bumper and a fair few other things, but was fairly sure they weren't on this forum.

When myself and Ryan went up the Kaimai's recently he had a run in with the cop at the top of the hill doing 113kmh, if the cop had seen us at the bottom of the hill, I highly doubt she would have even had the remotest of chances keeping up with Ryan's car (on dodgy 205/55/16 tyres and stock suspension) It would have taken her until Tauranga to catch up with me :)

I just thought it looked like what I remember as the motorway north of welly. Me no expert though, you'd be a better judge.

Lost the cop car (holden) on the corners i would say... and prolly knew the streets. (local)
....and he had his misus plates on the car which belonged to a subbie, which is why he was getting pulled up in the first place.

Urgh! You had to remind me about that - still got the fine sitting in my cubbyhole waiting to be paid when I eventually *yawn* get round to it...

I was half considering gapping it because she had to turn around to chase me... I could easily have put some "reg. plate reading distance" between us... Only thing is though, they (cops) have radios.
