Hi everyone.
Well I have been thinking about buying a 626 Estate for ages.

However, I am now toying with the idea of a Mitsubishi, as the Estates seem to have come in some performance models!

So I am going to be investigating all the estates.

Now I think that if I can find one that has reasonable performance, I might just sell the RX-7 ( well, and the 323!) .

Previously owned a 77 Galant (with aftermaket Turbo), 80 Galant, and.... (have you ever heard of ) 1986 Tredia 1.8 turbo - FANTASTIC car !

My mum had a 626 wagon from 98, the Legnums are just SO much better in every single way.

Keep the RX-7, get rid of the 323 and the MX-5!

I don't think you will get a Mazda nut to sell his MX-5!

:o I would like to see some pics of your RX-2 <-- best model shape.
Keep the 323 too!
I just helped my mate put a 12b j-port into his 323 wagon.
He's just getting a high volume cert for it at the moment. She sits about 45mm off the ground, I think he might have to raise it a little more, but we will see :)

Martin, what 323 have you got? My other half has just got a '99 323F and i'd like to track down a decent web forum for the inevitable questions!

mm the RX-2 is a sedan, 1971.

I just cant keep them all :-( My wife owns the 5, so its her decision on keeping that one.

There is actually nothing wrong with the 323 , its only on 100k miles. But the thing is, we have a little boy, so the 5 and the 7 are a bit impractical. Also we thought its time to upgrade to something with ABS, airbags, and air-con.

I am thinking a Mitsu Estate could be practical and give me the some fun with the performance, and then I could grudgingly think of selling the 7 :-(((

/Welcome2 to CVR4 Martin - you're definitely in the right place for a biased opinion on Mitsi estates! Well, the only one that matters anyway, the Legnum (and UK Galant estates, of course!)!

The Tredia was a rare enough motor anyway, let alone the Turbo! Any pics? My folks had a 1983 Tredia, and a Tredia was, until recently, my avatar!

Oh really. nice.
it was a 12a j-port - I was thinking of the 13b we took out of it.

Yer I know what shape the rx-2 is, as I had a 1970 Capella.
Then my m8 brought a rs 2000 escort. So I brought. I think it was 74 rx3. hehe we use to race them over Dyers Pass Road, into Lyttelton, then back over the Summit Road /rally

I had a nice 323 Familia in white - the GTR - an ugly mother - 1.8 4wd turbo, viscous coupling and LSD

It went nice around the Ring but had to sell it on with job and home changes after return from NZ

Yes mine was showing some signs of deterioration...

4th to 5th required double de-clutching to get gear smoothly

No I think this is a 'before' picture...

...or maybe it's an 'after'...

And anyway, I do not think that this thread is the place to discuss the appearance, or not, of green paint...

...I know the photo is from the Green Hell but looking for similar coloured paint is just too much!!

Next thing you will be looking for green lamp posts that have been seen near a Mazda car!

Speaking of Mazda cars, had a test drive in Mazda 3 MPS - nice car - 2.3 turbo FWD but with LSD - very nice!
