:-D Hey guys, just gotta quote for insurance, fully comp, legal cover, hire car etc £ 398 .31 on a £300 excess! If yours is due for renewal give Lifesure a ring. They do special rates for jap imports. Other quotes ranged from £ 590 to £839! Norwich union and Direct line being most expensive. Picking up Legnum soon .
Cheers
Nick.

nick-f1,

Great price! :) Do check your documents, though, to make sure they're covering a VR-4 because insurance companies have been known to make the mistake of quoting on a standard Legnum (2.0 or 2.5).

I have an unblemished record, full NCD, 50+, safe job, safe area, car garaged, etc., and I'm paying £555 :|

Sounds too good to be true? Are you absolutely positive you haven't been quoted for a V6-24?
As long as it's genuine, a word of advice....
I got a quote last year that undercut my renewal premium by over £120, I left it for three days before calling back to take out the cover and by that time the date had rolled over into October from September. The quote had gone back up to over my original renewal premium!!. The insurers (Budget) were very apologetic and explained that the premiums vary month-by-month dependent upon claims and if I'd have taken it out during September then the quote was still valid, otherwise they'd have to insure going on Octobers premiums :(

Needless to say I stayed with Osbourne & Sons again for a second year ..(£663 36 Yrs, Full NCB)

Take a look at your excess also, it may look great but if you have a prang you may need to start selling your body parts to pay for it.

Thanks for yr comments guys, I did get the lady to double check details and ensure it was a 2.5 vr4 she was quoting for. The excess was compulsory £300 and no voluntary and for an unmodified legnum. I admit it does seem too good to be true, but quote is valid for 30 days, so soon as the rovers sold I shall double check again before taking out the cover. But she stressed that legnum drivers have a very low claim rate, don't know if that refers to some vr4club members!!!! Ha Ha. Still will keep u posted
Cheers

Still trying to get quote from Pace Ward for the Galant VR4

Am about to buy one through Newera and want to make sure I can afford the insurance once it gets here. 2 mails and still nothing, however according to the MLR forum it's not unexpected.

Endsleigh was £950 :(

Need to get it cheaper than this really.
