Got it off /yes It's in VGC /yes including both bushes and balljoint.. Balljoint just needs repacking with grease were it got squashed out on removal with ball joint extractor :happy:

Someone did display interest in the propshaft though.. I'll have to check and see who it was and if they still require it, and what parts they need..

Reason being as there is also a Black Pre-facelift Legnum VR4 being broke for spares as well.

Engine and Roof Rails already gone.. But all other parts available..

not desparate, but mine clunks, when car is at stop and engine running, you wiggle the steering wheel from left to right just enough to start to move the wheel. you get the clunk right, clunk left , clunk right,
clunk left.

Checked the, Track rod ends (and replaced), rack rod ends (and replaced one) but nock is sill there.

when you take the driver rack rod end boot off you can see the movable part of the rack move forward and back wards when it is wiggled from side to side as above.

it doesn't look too difficult to replace, unbolt and out through the wheel arch, or maybe down pipes off as well and drop it down and out.

not a chance, i'm sure they all went on the engines.

i have the driveshaft, but we don't have a light in the stores, there's one in the yard but that'll have to wait 'til tomorrow, and we definatly don't have a front mount in good condition, we have one in a reasonable condition but it's still off set and a bit soft.

Ok, I have a '97 version Legnum. Today i got slapped with a £1200 quid bill for full service and cam belt change plus a rake of other stuff that is wrong. only owned the car less than a few weeks and it hurts. Anyway less of my life story and woes. The bits i need please if you can help:
1) Turbo Intercooler - Mine is holed!!
2) Front Cross member Damaged - Basically the car has been lowered and is on the deck which looks great but not with the scraping that occurs with the speed bumps and potholes round here
3) Exhaust down pipe and Centre section flex joint pipe damaged.
4) Gearbox gross member - This has been hit and now the propshaft is not sitting at the correct angle.
5) The joker had no spare wheel when i went to collect the car. Do you have a spacesafer or complete spare?

Currently the car will not pass an MOT as it stands and i cannot drive it without first fixing the intercooler. Let me know if you can help? cheers Andy

Yes, you're right. Once I've straightened it out it will be money well spent. It's just i sold a minter of a BMW coupe with full toolkit, spares etc for 800 notes.....and i knew the complete history of the car since i owned from 2 years old. However, 2 doors with a new arrival in the family was just not practical anymore....I enjoy tinkering with motors but I am turning soft especially with the cold weather approaching!!!

I went to Power engineering with my 1st VR4 when for initial service and stuff..
Wasn't at all happy with their work, found out later they hadn't done a few things I'd paid for... BEWARE...

colour doesnt matter as it will have to be resprayed. as long as it isnt dented..

cut out may be a problem.
