Just downloaded Evoscan 2.3, and it has an option for bleeding the ayc, plus more interesting bits and extra gauge layouts and how to stopp all the dash lights flashing during diagnostics. Feckin Awesome, those guys are great, if you dont have it get it!

You should have had an e-mail from them with a link.

My link was http://www.limitless.co.nz/evoscan/DownloadUpdate.asp?tx=08ED8A01E98

you will need your original serial number and e-mail address to run the program.

It's 25NZD everyone should be able to afford that! No need for warez there...

no prob to buy the software, but how about the cable?

I got a VW one on ebay for £13 uk and addapted it (you need to add a pin to the OBD11 connector, real easy and there is a photo tutorial somewhere). but evoscan say they will be selling them for mitsubishi's

I bought the one that Hamish (Evoscan developer) sells. It's 79NZD but you get 5NZD off the price of the software. It's a good quality cable and has an additional connector for which I haven't yet worked out its purpose.
Apparently we need to disconnect pin 9 on the connector to make it a fully Mitsubishi compliant with Evoscan 2.3 but you lose the ability to work with Subarus....like I care. When I modify mine I'll make it switchable I think.
The new software has some brilliant functions although I couldn't get any fault codes from the ECU.

I think the one thing we need to do is to get Hamish to include VR-4 specific settings in the files, and a ROM and hex file for fuel mapping. These are all missing and I've never seen anywhere they may be obtained from in order to check the fuel maps etc.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Now THAT is some great news. AYC bleed/service was one of the few things I conceded I would have to go to a garage to get done.

NZD $25?? That is a bargain!

Hi Ian,
I just read the "formerly known as" in your sig, for a mo I thought there was 2 of you!.
I have evoscan 2.3 and the cable, so can log a run and see what's happening etc, I haven't run it in 2.3 yet as I only got it. How you likeing the car?, still got the scooby??

2.3 appeared to give me a lot more logging options than I could get to work before.
The only downside so far is that it has an issue with reading the ECU fault list.
