Would any of you want to have a meet in Germany for example one day?

You can take your car on the DFDS Seaways ferry which goes from Newcastle and Essex to a few places up and down Germany.
Would be good to have all these cars on the ferry and then drive off to Nurburgring or something..

Just an idea...

I like the idea of going on the autobahn...safer than the M4!

And would you believe that I like the idea of Germany

AND the Nurburgring!

Will need to be around dates when track open for a decent period of time

Nurburgring Nordschleife is open during weekdays but not usually for a full day - w/e are better but would need to be a full day or better still a full w/e opening to give more flexibility for our plans i.e. lots of time on track!

Alright, my plans! I could not go for a quick burst, a lap or two or three. Once you've tried it you want to keep doing laps at least thats how i FEEL

So a few days in Germany, great idea

Sell some body parts Barry. :)

We go over to Germany every Christmas, usualy take a car with us but last year we took a plane because it was cheaper.
Now I have the VR-4! there is no way in hell I'm leaving it behind! :D

But anyway, see what happens and what dates we can all do.
I'm very adaptable since I'm self imployed.

Here is the Ferry details: http://www.dfdsseaways.co.uk

If it's dates some time close to Cristmas then a Ring visit is off - no track time

But between now and late Sept - yes it's worth a visit. Late Sept at latest as weather is so changeable in the area and Oct is when it can start being much wetter/colder/snow/sleet - you get the picture

I have been at Easter a couple of years ago and the Sunday was a white out - everywhere snow

So good dates and days for rest of 2003

Me eager, no! Addicted, YES!

In 5 hours I set off for Dover for w/e at Ring then Spa on Mon and Wed at A1-Ring

All for laps in the VR-4 - and it now has a new s/s exhaust courtesy of Tube Torque Macclesfield

Different noises from start up and throughout rev range

Holds higher gears longer and changes up sooner in auto - all due to better breathing and power available I understand

See how it goes this coming week and let you know
