Is there anywhere that i can input a Chassis Number and it will tell me what car it's supposed to be ?

The manufacturer should be able to tell you ... are you trying to check the identity of the RX-7?

CAPS will fill in the extra details if you put the chassis number in and i sure kieran will let you know the trim levels, etc.
as i think he has a decode list.

Or the vin number can be decoded again a keiran thing i think.

give me you Chassis number and i will pop it in to caps for you.

here is what caps says

Classification LRPE
vehicle name code 580
Option 000
Extreior G25A
Interior 13U
Date 96.08.3 So that could be03-08-96 or 08-03-96

doesn't mean much but here is mine as well. well i would if i could remeber my chassis number.

i think exterior is paint colour, a wild shot in the dark, is green.

but it is a valid chassis number.

My hand book says LRPE is a (not listed in the handbook)

For starters i just inputted LRPE into google and got this ...

yep LRPE is a 25ST,
same as my old car even the same colour,

quick way to see if its a convert,

what colour seats/interior does it have,

if its grey instead of black it was a non-turbo at some stage

And G25 is Finesse Green.
