Alarm

just bought my first vr4 and cant wait till she's ready. but here's my question,
As its a fresh import there's no alarm fitted. the garage recomend a cat1 toad alarm but will fit the one of my choice, so what is better the toad alarm or a clifford?

I had Clifford on my last one, believing all the marketing hype around the brand - 18 years on and I now realise after chatting to installers and reading on the net that Clifford are no different really to other top brands, like a Cobra or Toad - just Clifford have a high mark upon their products...

I say check out the product pages for Toad and others on the net and see what you're happy with - model, features, add ons etc - then get yourself a good price...

It's always a good sign when you get a recommendation from a fitter - but one that is willing to fit whatever you want.

I'm happy with my Toad Ai606. Seems to be a fairly popular choice.
