Not sure if I'm the only one to get this, but I think Kieran may have experienced it earlier (see 6g photos). Sometimes I get the wrong picture in the post.

eg this afternoon I saw BDA's dented tailgate in Scottish Ians tailpipe thread. This morning I saw a traffic light in place of my low score on keep it up.

Both times pressing 'page refresh' gave me the correct photo in its place......

no idea  - never seen that, but might be possible.. i was working on some of the members articles earlier.. and at one point i could see them, and now they gone..

i might have to do a refresh again

Just happened again. A picture of a front brake disc - I think Dereks - instead of the 6 diamonds on Petes poll.

If it helps, this has happened on 2 computers - work and home. Don't think it is me?

Made a possible helpful connection.... BDA's damage was posted in a thread called 'forgive me VR4 father' which I think was posted in the interim time for posting attatchments. Certainly, they aren't there now. I bet Dereks brakes were the same time.... Could it be that the picture ID's are duplicated somehow? Maybe the ID for BDA's damage is the same as Scottish Ians exhaust, so it's fluke which one I get?

No issues here with that thread - get two pics of Ian's mufflers

I do now, but earlier I didn't? Refreshing forced it to give me the right photo. Just curious as it has happened three times today, on different threads?

Again 5 mins ago. Scottish Ians exhaust post - the two pictures of his exhaust cut outs appeared first time round as Petes tv screens in the headrests. Once again a refresh solved the problem... Could it be that my computer is holding a memory of the pictures, but now the same ID's are being repeated it is putting old photos from IE stored files on the new posts? Maybe if I clear my offline files the problem will disappear.....

worth a try i suppose..
for the life of me i cant replicate the problem, but i have since the crash cleared cache quite a few times..

give it a go, see what happens?

Could well be the answer mate

This still seems to be occouriung, seemingly at random. I've just had a look at Derek's post about installing screens in his headrests and one of the pictures, instead of being a headrest, is a picture of a small R/C Evo?! :rolleyes5 :shifty:

...And having just done a CTRL+F5 to clear my local cache and refesh the page, everything appears to be working again?! :dunce: :wall:

Weird....... :stars: :shifty:

think ive figured it out..
im on my other machine, and i was getting this swapped picture malarkie..
with out refreshing i came back and it was still the same, i did this a few times.. just to make sure they stay, and didnt swap back to their normal picture..

at this point i deleted all temp internet files, and cookies..
closed browser, logged back into forum and we to post...
looks like that resolves the problem..

so if anyone has this swapping pictures issue, i suggest clearing temp internet files, and cookies..
