Air Filter Component

[Ultra VR-4]

Can anybody give me some advice on which Air filter is best. I noticed how everyone is using HKS power flow, but how does this compare to say a K&N air filter?:headsc:

I tried to get a K&N filter but everyone said there wasn't one specified for the VR4...but i could of got a universal size to fit. I went to Ralliart/Extreme Motors and they quoted £250 for a performance filter.....The power flows are about £150-£160 INSERT INTO post VALUES (over here!) all in. A problem we've got is how to deflect heat from the engine away from the filter....we only want cold air!
