only 57,000 miles!. Mechanically spot on, full mitsubishi main dealer service history and no expense spared on its mechanical upkeep. I have always used fully synthetic oil which is changed every 3000 miles. Had the main expensive cambelt service where I also changed all auxillary belts, bearings and water pump.

I have every receipt, bill etc that i have spent on the car since i have owned it as well as comprehensive history before this so no nasty surprises. I have the full HPI report I had commisioned when I bought the car.

Any trial or inspection welcome the car has nothing to hide.

serviced last month, very recent new battery. recently fitted a replacement front brake caliper with new front pads both sides and brake fluid flush and change. Front wishbone was replaced for the mot (genuine mitsuishi parts used) MOT now valid untill feb 08. Drives without fault, extremely quiet,smooth and refined but with some serious go when needed.

Bad points.

some wear to drivers seat bolster
crack in front bumper (small and low down so not really noticable) courtesy of a slow pheasant.
the side skirts were colour coded by the last owner, the paint shop didnt do a great job so the paint is peeling in places. cheap to get painted or strip back but i never got round to it.
small scrape to rear offside whick i have touched in and cant really be seen unless looking for it.
a few light scratches and stone chips around the car (but it is seven years old)

Genuine reason for sale. I have a baby due in two weeks and with my other son need something a little bigger, wife wants a citroen picasso!

I don't think it's far off the mark with the excellent history. I would call it a sensible price. You might need to be a bit patient though!

Hmm, looks like im going to have to lower the price for mine by a bit then! £2.5k is seemingly far too optimistic. :bigcry:
At least it beats the big tax hike for 2001 onwards cars.
(BTW Its a 2000 V6 Sport est with 107,000 on the clock)

Agreed - although the higher Road tax and (perhaps) lack of tiptronic box could be negative points.

Its cheap as it needs to go soon, If i could wait it would have gone up for around £2400.

its manual but all the best cars are :happy:

As for the tax I seriously think that it will be re thought before the next election.
