Saying that he got at least 150 miles on half a gnat's fart of petrol and that included at least 90 miles at about 150mph... /pan

I think that is a record Glenn, I think the best I managed once was about 25 miles trundling along the M1!

Oh and this most recent tank, I managed 148 miles before the needle touched the halfway mark, which I was quite pleased about. Mind you most of that was a gentle run down the M1 too.

In my GLS I once left Bristol with the needle on E. The light only just started coming on as I pulled into sainsbury's in Gloucester.

Rich.. Yes it was a risk /yes but i had my hands tied :inquisiti I was given directions to a Shell garage when i left Morden /yes It was about 2 miles  i must have took a wrong turn :( next i know i'm on the A3 heading to the M25, and that was that /pan

Very Very Very steady thottle for the next 50 odd miles :pimp2:

I filled up at Mimms and continued my journey beck to P'boro /yes Home around 2230hrs.. Of to bed and up at 0630hrs for my journey back to London, Thurrock for the RR day.. Then home again.. A bit of running about around town, nearly on Dreggs again and went and filled up last night at tesco's... I managed to squeeze 59 litres exactly in the tank and that was brimming with a little spillage /pan
The total miles i had clocked up was 317.6. :inquisiti

That was with some serious blatting to and from the rolling road day and never much below 80's and 90's, while cruising... ...

By my calculations that makes as near as dammit 24.47mpg :pimp2:

Can't grumble at that :afro:
