I realised the other day that this place is closer to me that Mitsubishi Nottingham is. I'm considering using them (for when I need to get the odd bit & bob).

Anyone used them before? In particular if anyone has, what was their parts dept like? I have to say that's where Mitsubishi Nottingham scores very highly - Their parts team is excellent.

Useless fact for you.

Russ Something-or-other. I'll ask him if he knows of a rusty haired know-it-all when I see him next.

Cheers Rees - spot on :)

Steve, not heard of a Russ, must be one of the techs or a sales peep? But yeah, the description you post probably fits as far as they're concerned....

Eh?

Do you mean the know-it-all who just realised Chesterfield is closer to Mansfield than Nottingham? That one? Pfffft ............ :scholar:

If it helps, my 'new' car has been serviced at Chris Variava a few times in the past and I have receipts for their work

I've used Gordon Lamb to get an ATF filter, and to price up the new seat panels from Japan. No probs to report - called back when they said they would. Fairly helpful on the desk and seemed pretty proficient with the info for the JDM models and parts software. Depends which dude on the desk you get though, I suppose!

A helpful pointer though - the Mitsi parts dept is in the Honda building! (there are three Gordon Lamb stealerships next to each other - Mitsi, Honda and Toyota.). And they're about mile and a half from my house!

EDIT: Just remembered I had the V6 serviced there in 2004. Excellent service. But cost one arm and one leg!! Of course, that was four years ago, so things on that side may have changed...
