Hi Guys,

Unfortunately I am having to sell my pride and joy so I can pursue my career abroad for a while. The car has been a regular attendee at the scottish meets over the last 2 years and has given me very few mechanical faults and as some of you will know, it has been well kept.

So here are the points.

MOT until April 09
Tax until Dec 08
all documentation since I took ownership (april 06) has been kept
its a year 2000 so misses the dumb tax increases next year
118k on the clock, most of which are motorway
Gearbox was rebuilt at 100k
Has had its oil changed every 4500 miles, last time was 2 weeks ago
Suspension was uprated once purchased so now sits on Bilstein Gas shocks and Spax -40mm lowering springs
Genuine VR4 front strut brace
Cone filter inside Airbox
Goodyear Eagle F1's all round
Comes with a MP3/CD player

Other Mods.
Has been de-badged all round (only Mits badge remains)
Has the CVR4 stickers on rear quarter glass
Front indicators are clear, as are side repeaters

Bad points.
Front bumper has usual stone chips and 2 slight scuffs, one on each corner
A/C will need re-gassed

The car also comes with.
Original stereo
6 brand new NGK Sparks (the ones in the car were replaced less than 10k ago)
Brand new Altezza rear lights, just never fitted
The badges

Looking for £2600.

Hi Mate,

TBH unless you're VERY patient i doubt you'll get what your after for it. Mines down for similar money and not a bite, its got 107k on the clock.
I think you could do with dropping £500 or so.
The market for big thirsty cars seems to have died recently (I wonder why?!)
Good luck with the sale regardless.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the heads up however I may stick with it for a week or so and see how it goes. I am in no real rush as such - I just know I would hate myself for letting the car go for less than its worth. (Having said that, the 'book' says its only worth 2k)

Withdrawn from Sale

I am no longer needing to sell the car, however as with everything else in life, if the right offer came around I would let it go.
