Vr4 Auto Random Selecting

Has anyone experienced random selecting on an auto box i.e. it likes drive sometimes, then wont go in other times??? Or just wont do anything??

The first thing to do is check the fluid. Gearbox hot, cycle the lever, put in N and check the level with the engine still running.

Is the N light flashing when it plays up? What are the symptoms?

not only check the level but check it is red and not brown. Have you ever changed the oil in it?
