Hi all gotta question for you.
Been helping a mate changte out a knackered engine for a better one. All Ok & got it running but the radiator fans would not come on. Discovered that the new radiator had 2 connections, 1 on drivers side low down which just appears to be a sensor that checks ther is enough water in the rad and the other sensor on passenger side a bit higher up. Looks to me like both just make to earth. First one to confirm there is sufficient water and second when the temp gets high. this compoletes a ground connection which switches the cooloing fan relays and the fans come on. Do I have this right or am I missing something ?
