Guys und Gals :D,

I've been in the club for around 18 months and has attended two Japfests and I will be @ Silverstone next week as well.

Every time I'm on any event I have a problem as in title.

I write some posts on the forum, exchange views and opinions with you guys but when it comes to see some of you face to face I have no idea who I am speaking to (well... in most cases).

Is there any chance to create some sort of members album with pictures accompanied by names and nicknames?

That would make my and other members (especially newbies) life easier on the events.

Maybe this thread would be a good place to start.

Perhaps the other thread could do with moving (it is already sticky!) and making easier to find.

As for names and such, I believe that is personal preference if people want to share. Again, perhaps a better layout could have been chosen however that can still be changed by the mods.

I have modified the name of the "official" thread and have initiated a committee discussion about moving it and perhaps modifying.

That discussion could take a couple of days due to the differing time zones, so please be patient.

Of course it is up to personal preference where you post your picture / name etc, but please consider posting in the sticky thread linked below.

I think the discussion has been healthy so far Nev.
As such I would prefer to leave the discussion around until such time as some decision is made about what to do about the whos who thread.

If it is decided that there will be 1 official thread then there will be some work done to migrate it etc. This one will then be moved and or cleaned up as appropriate.

I understand your point of view Nev, but we can always clean up threads etc.

As such, it might have been more appropriate to start a discussion on doing this task rather than just expecting to start again from scratch.

Still, some good points brought up and we will definitely review the situation and see about improving it.
