I think your all talking a load of garbage tbh :D

chris g

I actually need a recount as my posts as have been devalued...

I think that over the years I have been using the 'quick reply' method for virtually all my post...

...but since getting the Galant Estate in Aug I have been using 'new reply' method and so my post count has gone up...

I request, no, I demand a full check of this system to find ALL my posts, get those hundreds, well perhaps those few dozen 'quick reply' out of cyber space and credited to my name...!!!

TAR
01-09-2008, 10:09 PM
I think the quick reply adds to your post count?

TAR
01-09-2008, 10:10 PM
Yup can confirm it does

Kieran
01-09-2008, 10:35 PM
Yes, it does. Difference being that a 'quick' reply appears instantly but is written to the database in the background - so your post count doesn't instantly refresh. When you do an 'Advanced' reply, the content of your post is added to the database (and so your post count is notched up) before it displays the new post.

Either way, you still get your post credit! :scholar

Ooooh, I've just noticed I'm not far off the slightly dubious accolade of being the person who's posted the most in the Club.... :inquisiti

Yes it does seem that you can get into typing sh1te when you hang about this place into the small hours...

Will have to stop doing that...

And stop posting useless stuff just to get my post count up after a few years away from VR-4 ownership

There, I'm glad I got that off my chest, so useful to own up to your behaviours and share them with others....

Hello...........

There is somebody out there.........

Isn't there.........

Sure I heard somebody staring at the screen and squeezing their keyboard......

I cannot understand these people who post needlessly, stating the obvious and the meaningless, and add nothing to a discussion...

TAR
02-09-2008, 09:11 PM
Richard, sad is a very general term. I prefer to use the term 'special' to describe the people who post in threads like this.

Chris, I'm not sure I understand what your point is?

chris g
02-09-2008, 09:25 PM
I guess that I am so special and different that nobody understands my posts....

I am so misunderstood...

I need to post soooo much to help me share my thoughts and feelings...

I can see that it will take many posts for me to do this..
