well never had a tip tronic, what do you think of them, performance and reliability ??
More details on the z soon, its in my dads garage with all the paperwork.

tips are alright, i would prefer a manual car but they dont come up very often in white and manual. With a tip if you wanted you could go with flappy padels

Similarly I've not driven the manual, so can't really compare. I do think the auto suits the car very well. I rarely bother with tiptronic. That said, I'm probably unconciously driving around any gearbox quirks. I've also not tracked mine yet, but many others seem to get on fine.
Reliability wise they seem to be fine, particularly if a cooler is added. They probably start to get fragile with lots of power, but the turbos limit that anyway.

The cambelt was changed about 1 year ago but no receipt, but on inspection you can see its new

Not got around to pics yet as been busy all week trying to change water pump on a lex, dam crank pulley nut, on auto's!
And.. now its raining!
