Don't worry, just had the news from Mitsubishi.......1 shiny new piston direct from Japan (no one in the UK has ever had one apparently?) only £56.13! I was amazed! I daren't ask them how much it would be to change........a rough guess would be £1500-£2000 ;)


So do you think I should get one and send it to the USA to have high performance forged ones made????

i dont fancy taking my pistons out as yet cus all my bottom end has been cleaned and painted but ill try to pick barrys engine up and you could come and tae them out, do you know how much head gasket set costs £300 plus

A mate of mine got forged pistons made for his Cavalier for something like £80 each from some place round here - I'll see if I can get the details but I havent seen him around for a while.

Omega and Accralite are the only ones I have ever used.

what brand are the pistons ?

I got a used one here you can buy and i will send it to the US

60 pound including the postage

for 100 pound will send a rod with it so you can get forged rods made too
